want to buy one for him it may distract his studies.

September 19-27 is a family week here in the Philippines.
The goverment and the church teamed up for week long activities.
We opened it with a parade.

Here were about to go around the city .

This is the provincial capitol of Panay Island,
located in Iloilo city. The parade for family week
started here.

girl scouts

Esther Ruth had a Girl Scouting encampment.
Her week end was full of activities and fun, too!
With her are troop members and classmates in Grade V.

She was a contestant for the search "Miss Girls Scout".
Her production dress was sleeveless (the school provided it) but she
refused to wear it so I put a bolero on it.

Here she is ready for the production number.

Dancing!!! During talent portion, she played
the piano. My cam went off low batt after this.
Tsk tsk too bad!

pedicab

This is the Pedicab we use in going to school.
Manny is putting locks to the gates for safety.
He will pedal the kids to school to save gas.
Notice those clothes? Our neighbors use our fence
to hang dry their clothes. Pretty bad thing!!!

Kuya Caloi's visit in Iligan last 2007.

Behind us is the Maria Christina Falls, the energy source for Mindanao.

This is the Macapagal-Macaraeg(Former Philippines President and President Gloria Arroyo's Parents) Mansion in Iligan.

These are the two land marks that Iligan is famous for. Although there are many spring swimming pools and smaller falls. Iligan is called as city of Falls.

We miss Iligan. We lived there for 3 years.

The ym and yw of Iloilo Stake had a dance cultural
show last June 2008. Ephraim was part of this dance.

I'm going back 2006. Ephraim graduated valedictorian during his elementary years. He passed the competitive exam for Philippine Science High School and top 2 for DOST scholarship. We are very proud of him.

Esther had a practice for the school search Miss Girls Scout. I went to buy maong jeans for my one and only son but did not fit him. He has grown so much that couldn't keep track of his size. Well the jeans fits me though so i did not return it. I'll wear it instead. I'll just get him next week.

Manny was tired after a long day travel to Aklan, back and forth . The planned malling this night did not materialize. Well do it this coming Monday.

This is the silver medal esther got after the school oration last august.

Ewemiz top her kinder 2 class this first grading period with an average of 92.2%. Me and ewemiz went to SM mall to buy her atoy as a reward for doing great in class. Then we had lunch at chowking together with Manny . It was a full lunch. Manny went back to CES office while me and ewemiz went malling. She played at Mc Donalds for an hour and then went to look for a Manny's suit in a thrift store. we went home to rest and washed dishes. later in the afternoon we fetch Esther Ruth in school. Ephraim drove our Sicad Sicad (pedicab) back home. we got wet along the way because it drizzle. Ephraim is so nice to do that for us even if it meant heavy load for him, imagine the three of us inside the pedicab. I'll take picture of the pedicab tomorrow.

Today, i'm staying up late just to figure out how to make this blog work so that i'll be able to keep our family journal on line.
