It's recognition week for my kids in school. The school year is finished.It's rewarding time for all the efforts they put forth in school. Ephraim is a junior high student. He is top 1 in the class. the population in their school is around 900. He belongs to the special science class. His average grade is 92.53%. Esther Ruth is a fifth grader. She is 3rd honor in the class. She belongs to section 1. She loves to read and math. Ewemiz is a prep grad. She graduated from kinder school valedictorian. She is best in math, science, reading, writing and diligent . It was amazing because when she started the school year she was not that good yet. Now she just love to read and do math's. When she learned how to read during the school year, she keeps on reading her Book of Mormon Stories. We always tell her to read it everyday and she really loves to read it. At night, i don't need to read bedtime stories to her because she reads it already on her own. She is ready for first grade. Well i hope that she reads and reads just like his brother. Ephraim loves to read too. Manny and I felt blessed to have great kids!

Manny and i would go out for a date once a week. This week we went to eat at Emillion (i don't know if i spelled it correctly). Its a fine dining restaurant. The ambiance of the place is so cozy and clean. We ate shrimps and kangkong sort of. The calamansi shake was so good! I'll try to make one this week end. So tangy. Before Feb ends, we attended a dance and dinner party at Hotel Del Rio, Iloilo City. The food was ok , not exceptional. The games and piano recital ate so much of the time. We danced till 11 30 pm. That day also was Ephraim's Junior's And Senoir's Prom Night. He attended the prom at Sarabia Manor Hotel, Iloilo City. Manny fetched him at about 11pm. We all went home at about 11:30pm. What a night that was! I wanted to sleep a little longer the following day, but needed to wake up early (gosh i was very sleepy still),for 2 reason : ephraim's ym actvty, and ces fireside. Our attendance was needed. Anyways, i think i was drowsy and sleepy in the fireside.

Memories of 2008 is encarved in our hearts. My family just love everything we made in the year that had passed. All the blesssings and challenges we had were part of thoise memories written in our hearts. Early this jan. 2009 we moved to a new house. I'ts a two story house with 4bedrooms and huge carport. The place is near beach resorts so you can guess that we are near beaches and pools. The sea is just overlooking. We love it here so much. I'll post pics later as our nternet is not connected yet. we have the globe visibilty broadband wireless but not so fast. Not so good. We hope that we will be making more memories here in Iloilo City.

"A Prom (ise) Night" for couples was held last night. The Iloilo Stake had it in Sarabia Manor Hotel. Manny and I attended the event. The sad story , i forgot my digicam, silly me...we dressed up so well like a prom night but 4got my digicam. Pres Torres took pictures though so i'll just ask him if i can have it in usb. the emcee last night was no other than me and manny. The hotel is the biggest in Iloilo located just in the city area. Nice one. There were about 160 couples attended. we had a sumptous dinner. The Molo 1st and 2nd had dance presentation. They danced so well. There were games and dancing. the dance floor were so busy with 160 couples enjoying the night. the music were awesome from ballroom to sweet . all of us renewed our promise as husband and wife by wearing bracelets given by the stake. it was fun putting the bracelets to our husband and vice versa. looking at the older ones maybe at their 70's still together, enjoying and dancing to their hearts delight was so inspiring!!!The night ended with a renewed commitment to each other , love, love , love, till the end.

We had so much fun in Kalibo, Aklan, that's 4 hrs drive fr Iloilo this week end. We were there fr Oct 30-Nov 1. Manny attended the Single adults confrnce while the four of us stayed in a resort called, Sampaguita Gardens. The SA confrnce venue was also in the same place. The mtgs were held in the chapel just beside the resort. Then the social night was held in the Sampaguita garden confrnce hall. the slide show will you of the activities we had while staying there. Unwinding from all the cares of the world. I wish everyday is Christmas! just so much peace and fun!

This afternoon, manny taught me again in driving the innova. We went to the fishing port where there's enough space to practice driving. I had about 4 turns and made good improvements. He just cautioned me to slow down when there's a curve lane, i was kinda fast. He said further to keep always your lane. Never get other lanes. Then we went to SM fro some groceries since Sunday tomorrow. We ate our dinner there. On Monday we wil practice again.

The examination week for our children is over. The second grading exams for ephraim, esther, and ewemiz is done. Although ephraim's advance algebra and physics will be given next week at leats the kids could relax and enjoy after much studying. Esther's result of the exams were excellent. Ewemiz and Ephraim's result will be this coming week. Yesterday after the exam we watched a Gymnics show. It was acrobatics show. Heart pounding and was fun too. Then, we proceeded to the SM moviehouse and watched the most awaited High School Musical 3. Ephraim and Esther and me love the show. Ewemiz fell asleep in the middle of the show. The 2 kids are big fan of the show. Manny arrived at the movie a little late because he had a hair cut. We ate our dinner at KFC. Esther bought HSM3 magazine. She has all the issues since HSM1. Ephraim dowloaded the HSM3 songs in his friendster . He even play some songs from HSM 1, 2 and 3 in guitar and Esther and Ewemiz sings. They do that in our FHE talent. next time I'll take video of them.

How to make Pande (pandesal) Pizza by Ruth
you need:

• 12 sliced pandesal,
  
• pizza sauce, ham,
• pineapple tidbits,
• quickmelt cheese

the kids are busy making the pizza.

procedure:

• spread pizza sauce evenly to the sliced bread (pandesal)
• put the sliced ham, and pine apple
• spread quick melt cheese on top (put plenty)

bake at 325 degree for about 3 min. or until cheese melts

finally, eating time!!!!
let the kids do this and they will enjoy making it.
just prepare everything on the table.
